Cupcake Birthday Bloghop

Hello everyone! Welcome to my Blog and the Cupcake Birthday Blog Hop, for Monday, June 20th, celebrating Sylvia's birthday! I am so excited that I am participating in my first blog hop. I made a "Pocket" card. The card has a spot in the front where either money or a gift card can be inserted. It can always be left empty too. I used the Cricut Birthday Bash cartridge for the cupcake and candles. I cut the paper 3 times and used pop dots in between each layer. The card front was embossed with a Cuttlebug cupcake embossing folder. The pink paper under the cupcake and candles was also embossed using a flower folder and the edges were cut with decorative sissors. The inside of the card has a Happy Birthday sentiment that I picked up out of the dollar bin at Michael's. It is embossed. I used the Spellbinder Nestabilities scalloped square for the writing area. The paper is out of my cabinet, plus the printed papers are DCWV and the party hat was cut from a My Mind's Eye paper. I used Stickles on the hat, front sentiment "Hello Cupcake," another $1 bin stamp and embossed, and for the glow around the candles. I put pink and green bling on the cupcake frosting and a flower bling on the top of the hat.

It's hard to see the 3-D effect with the pictures.
