Now, on to the project I would like to share with you. I made a card of the Queen from the Tim Burton "Alice In Wonderland" movie played by Helena Bonham Carter . I loved that movie. She was a great Queen of Hearts. This card is a long card that fits in a standard long envelope. I made it using a digi stamp that I bought from Fresh Brewed Stamps. They have other AIW stamps too that I purchased. I love the line. I used copics to color her, but used gel pens for the flowers on the inside of her dress. I added heart bling to her dress, some pearl bling for her earrings and necklace with a heart bling in the middle, and then when I went tot he stamp convention in May, I bought the crown sticker. I think there were maybe 9-12 on the sheet. I new what I wanted to use it for and it is the perfect size for her head. I used a piece of Christmas paper at the top, where I just cut a strip, some heart ribbon down the side, and striped black and white paper behind her, all mounted on red cardstock. I added a gold trim for a bow on the side and cut her shoes from some shinny gold paper that I had.
