DAY 6
Welcome to the 13 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. This hop is scheduled from Oct. 19 at 8:00 am through Oct.31 at 11:00 pm (central time). It's that time of year when the nights are all spooky and creatures are known to wander the forests. So sit for a spell with a nice cup of hot apple cider and check out all the great projects.
If you just happened upon this hop, then welcome, but make sure to go back to the beginning and start at Lisa's blog.
We're so excited to be doing this hop and we have a fabulous lineup with some very talented ladies. There will be lots of fun projects, along with some great blog candy, and a great grand prize for this hop.
The hop is a 13 day hop with only 13 blogs to visit so you will have plenty of time to make it through the whole hop lineup 13 times. Check out each blog and see what blog candy you can win at the individual stops. Please come back all 13 days to see great projects.
Here is the complete lineup:

Today I was at my favorite stamp store, Impress Rubber Stamps, in Tukwila WA. I found this cute Halloween stamp and knew it had to become part of my collection, even though I don't need one more Halloween stamp. LOL
My project for today is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. The card is made from orange textured card stock. A piece of K&Comapnay Swirly green paper was cut smaller and adde to the front. A witch flying in front of a moon was fussy cut from a piece of K&Company Halloween paper. The witches stamp is from American Art Stamps. I stamped it in black and embossedit. I stamped the sentiment part again, also embossing it. This allowed me to use copics without worry of bleeding, plus made the ink stand out more and not get washed out. I colored the sentiment with copics and popped it up with pop dots. I used copics on the witches and tree. The moon is colored with bright yellow stickles. I used my Zutter to diestress the edges. I love that tool in my craft room. I could easily use a different tool, but you just put the eddge of the paper in, pull it through and it's done. It's so fast, a little noisy, but very effective. I then diestressed the edges of the white paper with Tim Hotz Distressing Ink - Rusty Hinges and decided to rub it all over the paper to take away the brightness of the white.
what a fun card! TFS
