12 Days of Christmas - Day 1

Welcome to the Twelve Days of Christmas Blog Hop!  You should have come from Inga's blog.  If you are starting here and wish to hop from the beginning of the hop, please visit Lisa’s blog.  This is 12 days of Christmas, with each day offering a different project on each blog. Each crafter is sharing something new each day of the hop that has to do with Christmas.  Hopefully, you’ll pick up some great ideas for your own Christmas gift giving this season.  You don’t want to miss a day so, grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and enjoy!

Here is my project for DAY 1:

I used Rosie’s Road Show stamps for this card. I stamped and embossed all of the images, then for the colors I used various Copics. The sentiment is also a RRS stamp, which is embossed and then punched out with an oval Stampin’ Up punch. The edge is done in my new Tim Holtz Distress berry red ink. The red is the scallop oval Stampin’ Up punch.  The snow is glitter. I added glittery red and white ribbon at the top, which is from Michael’s. It is mounted on a piece of red cardstock. The inside is done with a Christmas sentiment (unknown manufacture), which I stamped and embossed in red.  This card was fairly easy to make, since it didn’t require a lot of cutting or coloring.
