The picture doesn’t do it justice for how bright it really is in true life. I used some bright DCWV Glitter Stack paper for the background and the mushroom, which was stamped from That's Jazzy Stamp Dreams Alice in Wonderland series. I also stamped the grass (bottom of mushroom stamp)onto printed green paper. I glued the shapes onto card stock, so they would stand out against the background paper. I used Copic Markers on the Cheshire Cat, glitter pen for his ears, and a pink glaze pen for his nose. Then I added some pop-ups and bling. The sentiment, which I embossed in hot pink, is from Stampin' Up, as well as the EK success punches.
This is my first Alice In Wonderland card, for my stamping buddies AIW workshop that I will host in May. My turn to come up with 10 cards.
I came up with a second card. The background paper is My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose S&R128 paper. I used the clock and sentiment stamps from That' s Jazzy Stamp Dreams Alice in Wonderland stamp series. I used Copic Markers for the clock. The clock hand is from Stampin' Up, as well as the punches for the sentiment. The rabbit is from Graphic 45's Hallowe'en In Wonderland Tags. I used my Dial-a-Cropper to add eyelets and then some sheer ribbon.
I made another card. This time I used Bobunny timepiece dot paper, for the background. It was perfect with all of the clocks. I sprayed the paper with Tsukineko's sheer shimmer spritz sparkle. Again I used That's Jazzy Stamps, for both the rabbit and the words. I put the rabbit on some tan cardstock and cut him out all the way around and popped him up. I used Copic Markers and pink and gold Sakura metallic pens for the ears, nose, and watch. The background blue paper was punched on both sides side with EK punches. I used tan card stock with That's Jazzy Stamp Dreams sentiment stamps for the word. The ink is Fresh Ink, color Island, which i embossed with pastel blue JoAnn's craft Essentials embossing powder. The candles were stickled with yellow Ranger stickles. On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment from Stampin' Up's On Your Birthday stamp set that says "I just wanted to give you a reason to celebrate a little longer! Happy Belated Birthday."
OK, one more card was made. So far, I think that I really like this one, only because of the color choice and the bling. Plus it isn't my standard 1/2 sheet of paper size, but instead I made a long card. I used some rust colored cardstock for the card and the background paper behind Alice and the words. Alice was cut from Graphic 45's Hallowe'en In Wonderland Alice's Tea Party paper . There is brown and white Divine Twine is on the hat. The key is from 7 Gypsies and the key hole is from Tim Holtz Ideology. The ink is Fresh Ink for the words and I sponged the edge of the tan cardstock with tea dye Ranger Distress Ink. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Happy Harmony stamp set. The corners of the paper were punched with a Stampin' Up's EK success punch.
